Shipping Policy (for Physical Goods)
While our core business revolves around publishing services, there may be instances where physical goods are involved, such as printed proof copies, author copies, or marketing materials.

Shipping Methods and Carriers: We typically utilize reputable carriers such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS for the shipment of physical goods. The specific carrier and shipping method will depend on the destination, weight, and urgency of the shipment.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated based on the weight, dimensions, destination, and selected shipping method. These costs will be clearly outlined during the ordering process for any physical goods.

Shipping Times: Estimated shipping times will vary depending on the carrier and destination. We will provide an estimated delivery time frame when your order is processed. Please note that these are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Order Processing Time: Please allow 3 business days for us to process your order for physical goods before shipment. This processing time is in addition to the estimated shipping time.

Shipping Address: It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays or misdeliveries caused by incorrect shipping information.

Refund Policy (for Publishing Services and Physical Goods)

Due to the personalized and time-sensitive nature of our publishing services, our refund policy varies depending on the stage of the project:

Initial Consultation and Planning Phase: If you cancel your project before any significant work has commenced (e.g., before manuscript editing or design work begins), you may be eligible for a partial refund of any upfront fees paid, minus a reasonable administrative fee to cover our initial consultation and setup costs. The specific amount of this fee will be outlined in your service agreement.

Manuscript Editing, Design, and Formatting: Once substantive work has begun on your manuscript (e.g., editing, cover design, interior formatting), the fees associated with these services are generally non-refundable. This is because our team has already invested time and expertise in your project.

Proofreading and Finalization: Fees associated with proofreading and finalization stages are typically non-refundable once the work has been completed.

Distribution and Marketing Services: Refund policies for distribution and marketing services will be outlined in the specific agreement for those services, as they may involve third-party costs and commitments.

Cancellation by The VTF Collective: In the unlikely event that The VTF Collective cancels your publishing project, you will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid for services not yet rendered.
2. Physical Goods (Proof Copies, Author Copies, Marketing Materials):

Damaged or Defective Goods: If you receive physical goods that are damaged or defective, please notify us within 3 days of receipt with photographic evidence of the damage or defect. We will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you at no additional cost or issue a refund for the damaged or defective items, at our discretion.

Incorrect Items: If you receive the wrong physical items, please notify us within 3 days of receipt. We will arrange for the correct items to be shipped to you or issue a refund for the incorrect items, at our discretion.

Returns of Non-Defective Goods: As these physical goods are often produced specifically for your project (e.g., author copies), we generally do not accept returns of non-defective items. Please ensure you review all proofs carefully before approving them for final production.

Please include your project name or order number and provide detailed information about your request or the issue you are experiencing.
