A 16-time Amazon bestselling author and publisher, LaKesha has penned numerous solo works and co-authored six powerful anthologies, including Open Your G.I.F.T.S. alongside actress and comedian Kim Coles. Her debut children's book, Grandma's Hats, earned the Best Children's Book Award and a nomination for Author of the Year by Black Authors Rock.

Known for her bold faith, contagious humor, and authentic teaching style, LaKesha is deeply passionate about equipping believers to live victoriously through the Word of God and advancing the agenda of the Kingdom.

Currently pursuing her Master’s in Christian Care from Capital Bible Seminary, LaKesha holds several credentials including:

Certified Professional Christian Life and Business Coach
Trained Sexual Assault Victim Advocate

As a survivor and overcomer, she boldly advocates for abstinence and purity until marriage, sharing her testimony to encourage healing, wholeness, and freedom.

LaKesha resides in Maryland, where she enjoys serving her community through both business and ministry. When she’s not writing or teaching, you can find her traveling, watching movies, exploring new brunch spots, indulging in her LEGO hobby, or creating memories with family and close friends.
